Freshman Savannah Tait and Morgan Jensen had 3 hits each in a non-league win for San Marcos, 11-4.
Both youngtsers drove in a run in the win, while Hailee Rios had 2 hits, including a 2 run single in the first inning.
Rios allowed one earned run in three innings of work, scattering 3 hits and striking out 5. Â Aliyah Huerta-Leipner worked four scoreless innings of relief, scattering 3 hits and striking out 4.
San Marcos returns to Channel League play on Thursday against Buena.
