Caitlyn Early hit two homers and drove in four runs to lead a potent San Marcos attack in a 14-4 win over Pacifica in a Channel League softball opener on Tuesday.
Freshman first baseman Charlotte Hastings had a big day, going 3-for-3 and Emma Foster went 2-3 with a double and a triple.
Freshman pinch hitter Jessica Vega hit a double down the left-field line and scored the winning to close out the mercy-rule win.
